30 green books (some I’ve read and some I haven’t)

THE MAZE RUNNER is one of my favorite dystopian books and I’ve read nearly the entire series. It’s perfect for fans of YA dystopian books where the kids are on their own and need to survive … and it definitely messes with your brain the further into the series you get.

FANGIRL DOWN is one of my most anticipated reads for 2024 and I’m hoping to get to it very soon. I’ve read a couple Tessa Bailey books so far and really enjoyed them, so I have high hopes for this one.

I read ANGUS, THONGS AND FULL-FRONTAL SNOGGING in middle school, though I don’t remember much about it. All I know is I enjoyed it and I can’t wait to read it with my littlest minion!

VERITY was my first Colleen Hoover book (and a huge step outside of my comfort zone because I don’t do thrillers). Like many CoHo books, VERITY messes with your head and definitely makes you look at the world a different way.

I am a HUGE Christina Lauren fan, though IN A HOLIDAZE didn’t quite stick for me. I loved the groundhog day theme – where she gets the chance to do the day over and over. It wasn’t my favorite Christina Lauren book, though I would recommend it for anyone on the hunt for a fun holiday read.

Though I am absolutely NOT a fan of J.K. Rowling as a human being, I do have a tiny soft spot for Harry Potter. My oldest minion started reading the first book with his class last year, so we’re reading the series together.

I am a serious fairytale retelling fan, so SPLINTERED by A.G. Howard is going to be my Retelling pick for the 2024 Booknerd Backlist Reading Challenge! Alice in Wonderland is one of my favorite stories, though I’ve never read any retellings. I’m excited to make this one my first!

Did anyone else grow up with GOOSEBUMPS? I absolutely loved these creepy middle grade books when I was younger and I’m on a serious quest to collect as many as I can get my hands on. The oldest minion is already interested in reading them so I can’t wait to share that part of my childhood!

One of my biggest bookish pet peeves

If you’re shopping online or in a bookstore, some of these green editions might be a bit hard to find. One of my biggest bookish pet peeves is when the author completely changes the cover … a green cover is now suddenly multi-color (looking at you, Artemis Fowl 😠). So while some of these green books may have changed colors, I’m still keeping them on this list … they were green at one time.

And a few final thoughts about green books …

I hope you found this list of gorgeous green books helpful in adding some additions to your TBR pile! What are some of your favorite green books? Do we have any in common? Let me know in the comments if I’ve missed any of your favorite green books!

Happy reading, xo!
